JoN isnt really specialised in one musical genre but since were working mainly with acoustic instruments and most of the songs are very melodic you might call it folk in the broadest sense of the word.
The Band:
Johanna Fassbender: vocals; Vera Junker: violoncello; Markus Apitius: vocals, guitar, piano.
Usually there are guest musicians participating when we perform live.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Markus and Johanna go back a long way. Theyve been playing in several bands together before they decided to start JoN in 1998. As JoN theyve recorded a live album with a small label in Cologne which has its cult following here.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We love playing live but so far we only performed in Germany. Wed like tour everywhere. Any ideas ... ?
