Song: Emily
Nice sweet song. Hard working Emily for sure. Love the guitar. You also have a nice voice as well. ~ Judy ~

Song: Sarah the maid
What a lovely, touching song all round....
It's good enough in my opinion to stand up there with the best of classic folk songs.

Song: Did you hear me.
This track shows a huge degree of empathy. It's an extremely sad but lovely song, written and sung from the heart.
I can understand perfectly how you became inspired.
In admiration.
Carol.

Song: The carousel
I love the way the guitar picking imitates the carousel - brilliant. Vocals and recordings wonderful, as usual!

Hi John,
The Broken Years is absolutely gorgeous - beautiful playing, amazing lyrics. I love your music! It's the best thing I've heard in a long time.
I think our styles are somewhat complimentary - I'd love to hear what you think of the music I've posted. I play in an acoustic duo way over in San Francisco. :-)
Keep writing and posting! I'm going to add this to my station...
take care,
Robin

John, How ever nice. Your music make me think about the first music I was introduced to by my mother. Folk music, such as Kingston Trio, Limeliters, etc.
You may not have heard them, but songs like "The Fox", "The Ghost of Anne Bolyn", The Escape of Bill Tenor" (I think...) It's been awhile.
Anyway, thanks for the listen.. I am doing many cover songs now, and trying to get my writing back.
I have 2 in the works, but (block)

Thank you so much for all of the lovely comments on my songs. it's always a real pleasure to stop by and hear your terific music too.
Wishing you a great sunday and week ahead.

Difficult to hear because it sounds like you're at the back end of a cave. But, if we're overlooking production issues, as we often must. Then it becomes a very nice and thought provoking ballad.
