John Turns, singer/songwriter, uses acoustic arrangements and heartfelt lyrics to bring a different blend of acoustic rock to audiences of all ages.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
John Turns has been playing guitar for approximately 4 years, and singing for 2. John has played in two previous bands during his high school career, Nothing Reason (soph. and jr.) and Atreus (Sr.). After the breakup of Atreus in May 2004, John decided to go on his own. John currently attends Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove,PA.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Playing live has to be one of the most rewarding parts about being a musician. Getting to share your music with a crowd, having them feed off your emotion. Since I'm doing the whole singer/songwriter thing you can see me at a coffeeshop or open mic near you.

Dave Matthews Band, Creed, Staind, Fuel, Pearl Jam, etc., etc., etc. This list could go on forever but here is a few.
What equipment do you use?
Kustom PA system, Martin 000-16 Auditorium model, Carvin AG 100 Acoustic Amp. Sometimes I use my electric stuff, but not often if you care to know what I use e-mail me.
