Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
One day back in 1994 I wanted to play punkt out hardcore rock'n'roll but I didn't want to join a band so I didn't. I grabbed my acoustic guitar and started singing and playing just as one would if their were in a punkt out hardcore rock'n'roll band. A regional following began to happen so I released a couple of cassette tapes for a number of years.
Recently I have as of 1999 been putting out CD releases, 2 of them and will release a new 3rd album this summer. I've called what I do many different names such as Acoustic Hardcore or Nerd Rock or even Faster Freaker Folk. Either way I'm having fun writing songs and playing live.
Currently there's a doctumentary film being made about me. It should be released in 2007 or 2008 or so.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I'm always ready to play live. I'm quite the talker on stage always trying to cause some party. I've done and said some pretty crazy things live on stage. My favorite years 1995 when I mostly played in Montreal/Toronto and 2000 when I lived through out Northern Ontario. Some old school punk scene people in Canada call me a "punk legend".
Your musical influences
johnny cash, local folk singers, my street punk hardcore experiences, Leonard Cohen, alot of my influences continually change all the time.
Anything else?
I do acting and a drag queen act to. I'm pretty much known around Vancouver as the only punk rock heavy metal queen. Worked at the legendary Cobalt hardcore bar (2001-2004) as their main waiter/busser. I've won some karaoke titles too. oh my gawd...
