Johnny Jay - OK you want to hear all those great rock classics from 1960 to today, you want the authentic sound, great guitar breaks, you want to feel involved with the act, exchange a few jokes, sing along, maybe take the mike yourself for a song, take the dance floor and shake everything. OK you don't want a four piece, it's too much, too costly and anyway you haven't got the space. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Johnny Jay was a founder member of North West band, White Horizon in the 60s and has been performing solo (well apart from his Sony Band) for several years.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Johnny Jay plays live music in the North West and West Midlands.
Your musical influences
Too many to name. Mr Blobby isn't one of them though.
What equipment do you use?
Line 6 Variax guitar, Line 6 pod, Sony minidisk, Yamaha PA. Behringer mixer.
