John Palacios, a.k.a Johnny Boy was born April 14, 1984 in Jackson Memorial Hospital, conveniently located right next to the Dade-County Jail. With almost an entire family that escaped the cruel regime of Fidel Castro in order to obtain a better life in the U.S, his background proved to be one of strength and survival. Growing up in the harsh streets of Miami, Johnny quickly learned about death, drugs, and betrayal, when his uncle was murdered over drug money. With a father who worked two jobs to put Johnny's mother through college, they went from being a lower class family to middle class in no time. After a few run-ins with authorities, he learned how tough the streets can really be, then soon discovered that music was his only outlet. With influences like Nas, DMX, 2Pac, Trick Daddy, and Eightball, Johnny Boy developed his own style and began his path to greatness.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started making recording my own tracks when i was 14. I graduated from Full Sail University and graduated with my Associates Degree. Thats when I built my own studio and began making beats and continued recording my own music.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
yes... local clubs in Miami like; MEKKA, THE WHITE ROOM, SOBE LOUNGE, and many others
