For almost thirty years the ex-New York taxi driver, has lived in a romote part of the Adirondack Mountains in Northern NY State. John has been honing his slide guitar and harmonica till as John puts it, "I want it to cut like a knife". Heavily influenced by Robert Johnson, and Muddy Waters, John plays harmonica and open tuned slide guitar with heart and soul laid wide open to the universe. As John puts it, "I want to sit down and play, Let's see what comes out".Have you performed in front of an audience?John plays small venues in and around the Adirondack mountains as well as club and college gigs around the East.
Your musical influences
My first Cd is called "Carrying On" and is dedicated to all of the old blues men that are gone and to those of us who are left here "Carrying On"Anything else?
Mad Dog has a raw take on the blues. You can tell he's been there and he feels what he is singing about. Equally tallented on harp and slide guitar, John can rock a stage and leave you hollering for more.sjblues's station

Good luck with your new CD. I hope it is as great as the first one. Can't wait to get together and play.
