HELLO! JOHN. "SLOW CHANGE" HAS A GREAT MELODY. THE VOCALS ARE AWESOME BUT LYRICALY I SEE A DIFFERENT A MORE IN DEPTH LYRICAL FORM IN THIS TUNE. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS SONG HAS BEEN RECORDED BY AN ARTIST BUT IT HAS A GREAT DEAL OF POTENTIAL FOR A HIT WITH A DEEPER TWIST IN THE CHORUS.
IN MY OPINION THE CHORUS COULD USE A RE-WRITE. NO DISRESPECT INTENDED JUST CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. SLOW IN TERMS OF: LITTLE BY LITTLE, STEP BY STEP, BIT BY BIT . CHANGE IN TERMS OF: REVERSING THE PAIN BY LETTING THE TIME HEALER WORK IT'S POWER, ALLOWING HER MEMORY TO FADE, TURNING THE PAGE, SEEING THE LIGHT AT THE BEGINING OF A NEW LIFE ECT.. I THINK YOU GET THE POINT.
I JUST FEEL THAT YOU CAN DO MUCH BETTER WITH IT (LYRIC WISE.) I LOVE THE MELODY AND THE VOCALS. HOPE YOU WILL DIG A LITTLE DEEPER ON THE WORDS. THEIRS MORE TREASURES TO BE FOUND WHEN IT COMES TO RE-WRITE. IT'S AMAZING HOW TRUE THAT IS. THE HEART NEVER FALLS SHORT OF SUPPLYING UNFOUNDED GEMS IF WE TRUELY SEARCH FOR THEM. SEE U SOON
