Straight up blues, funk blues, country blues, Chicago blues, West Coast blues, delta blues are all performed with authentic style and grace. This is NOT another "jam band" featuring endless solos and insipid lyrics! The John Frye Blues Band has a solid foundation of songwriting expertise and musical craftsmanship that is evident in every song.

Based in the upper Midwest, U.S.A., the John Frye Blues Band has ranges as far south as the Florida Keys, and as far west as California. Many band members call Milwaukee Wisconsin home, but when the full band tours, the members come from all across the upper Midwest.
