John grew up listening to all the legends of country music, such as George Jones, Porter Wagner, Hank Sr., Willie Nelson and more. John’s dad a southeastern Kentucky coal miner bought him his first guitar on his 11'th birthday. John picked up cords quickly from his small town church band. By the time he was 17 John got to do something people dream of!!! That’s performing to sell out crowds at big events like Jenkins Day in Jenkins Ky where he opened up for many major artist.
John has performed at many Fairs and Festivals and even Clubs around the east coast ...One of the places that John played and really enjoyed was Tootsie's in Nashville Tn....
John has been asked to come back and play every where he has performed.
In 2004 John recorded, his first album entitled ‘Country Roots & Cowboy Boots’. a brilliant look into the heart and soul of country music. John Fee is “The Real Deal”.
