Hello, my name is John Bowyer. These songs are some of my recent originals. The recordings are raw, "one takers". My goal is to keep these songs as simple as possible, as far as the recordings go. I like mistakes everynow and then, makes songs like these more real, more personal. Good jams! JB
Band/artist history
I've played music for a long time, with a lot of different bands. now, I'm fronting my own band for the first time. Yikes. Does anyone ever read this stuff? Loser
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play around central Indiana a lot. I have my own band currently called "The Hayburners". I also play mandolin for the bluegrass band "The Lonesome Sharks", and shred guitar for "The Ottoman Society".

What equipment do you use?
I use a Martin D-16, and a Flatiron F-5 on these recordings. I also have and love to play my electric mandolins. A 1956 Gibson EM-150, and my custom built flying V mando made by Mel McCullough. 6 String Banjo
