Milan attains to a nearly religious intensity in this, his second pavan from his set of six written for vihuela. It's played here on the lower courses of a Renaissance lute to reflect the character of the original instrument, and of the piece.

Lorraine Saltre (my wife and performing partner), soloist. Recorded at the International Choral and Folk Dance Festival in Cork, Ireland (I am not on this recording). Apologies for noisy recording; this was recorded on cassette tape.
