to work on, and generally get them about three-quarters done. At this point I typically get bored or find something more compelling to work on, so I probably have close to fifty projects in progress. I've finished, at last count, one.
album. I was hoping to have it done in time for the album's 25 anniversary, but I blew past that dealine without ever looking back. I've been working on it, on and off (mostly off), for longer than I care to think about. The first half of "Shine On" is pretty much done, as is the title track (which I'm planning to release Real Soon Now™). "Have A Cigar" is in pretty good shape, but the guitars are gonna take a lot of work (and practice!). "Welcome to the Machine" is in its infancy; I'm going to have to master my Pulsar board to get the synth sounds for that one. The second half of "Shine On" is basically backing tracks at this point. That's another one where the guitars are going to be tough (the slide solo may kill me, but what a way to go).
Your musical influences
Chiefly David Gilmour, although lately a bit of John Frusciante has been creeping in....
