Band/artist history
Joe writes a wide variety of songs in varying styles. Heavily influenced by the Beatles, his main genre is Pop Rock. He writes what he feels, so all songs don't have to have a message. As a songwriter, he feels sometimes you just need to write about an event in your life, or even something as simple as a thought you had when you woke up.
Joe, being heavily influenced by the Beatles, also recorded under the psuedonym "Beatlescene". While playing and singing everything himself, he felt those 'beatlesque' tunes sounded more like a group than an individual artist, so he just pretended it WAS a group.
Joe was the founding member, lead singer and main songwriter also for the band Simon Pure. Joe left the band in 1998 to focus more on staying close to his wife and two daughters, and also to focus more on songwriting and recording rather than performing.
Joe is most recently assembling a band to play a few local dates in the future.
