Joe Costlow
My name, of course, is Joe Costlow. I'm 18 years old, and live in Montclair, VA. I've been writing a lot of varied music, so it's hard to put it in a category. There's classical guitar one minute, and dark sounding instrumental hip-hop the next. I hope you find something you like.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've studied percussion for eight years, and I began writing about a year ago.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I haven't in a while, but in high school, yes. The best performance was definitely All-State Orchestra, but I always loved Jazz Band, Symphonic Band, and Marching Band.

Rush, Brian Eno, Beethoven, Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore, James Newton Howard, Trevor Rabin, Harry Gregson WIlliams, Rachel Portman, etc., etc.
What equipment do you use?
Propellerhead's Reason, Finale, Noteworthy Composer, Fruity Loops, a few others.
