My name is Jodeci and yea that is my real government name. The reason behind me putting the 501 behind it is to make sure no one confuses me with the legendary R&B group Jodeci. Also 501 is the area code in representation of were im from.Band/artist history
I started making beats with a Yamaha keyboard. I remember it was a Christmas gift from my mom and grandma I believe. I freaked out because it wasnt something I wanted but it was a real surprise and something that I loved. Looking back I think thats how you can tell I was destined to make music. It took some time to figure out what I should do and things are still moving slow but I know if the right person hear one of my beats its take off time.Have you performed in front of an audience?I did perform for my school a few times but it wasnt musical showcasing. It was kind of like plays and we did like a little dance thing for our music class.

The people I look up to are Quincy Jones, Timbaland, Kanye, Lil Jon, Pharrell and Zaytoven. I got a few others honestly I really rock with every producer that make good beats even the ones we dont hear a lot about like the guy who produced Panda for Designer or the person who produced Talking To The Moon.What equipment do you use?
Right now as of lately I have been using loops I may start back testing out my skills with the keys. Its been so long I dont know if im still as good as I was but ima give it a try here soon.Anything else?
