Visual artist Jovani (Jo) and multi-instrumentalist J.A.McArdle (Joe) are improvising artists developing their songs from recorded jam sessions. Drawing from a wide range of musical influences from pop, spiritual, free jazz, and world music, these vocal tunes maintain much of the loose spontaneous feel of the original improvised versions. Jovani responds to the music with vocals that take an intimate look at the dark corners of her life in hoping to shed light on a world that she feels leaves a lot to be desired.Have you performed in front of an audience?We have performed/improvised live on occasion but primarily focus on creating new material in the studio.
