Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
joAmo started making music in the Summer of 2007. joAmo met a girl that is listed as 'Baby Boo' in featured songs including "R U Down?", "1ne Baby Boo" and "Move On". Which pertained and influenced the recording of those songs. Year end, joAmo and 'Suspekt' started making freestyle tracks including "Walk It Like You Talk It", "Swanging Lac'z", "P.I.M.P" and much more that never been heard before until now. As joAmo continued recording upon 2008 and 2009 he was then offered the summer of 2009 to open up for 'Hi Power Soldiers' July 2nd, 2009 at The Joint now known as Cinnabar. It came with success, 25 tickets were sold independently by joAmo himself for the opening slot which gave him an 'upper' spot over 'Lil Playboy' another Flagstaff Artist. AC The Promoter was impressed by joAmo's actions; he booked for the follow-up concert with 'Mr. Capone E & Mr. Criminal' September 3rd, 2009 at the very same venue. 30 tickets were sold for this event even though joAmo didn't perform as well as 'Project X' a Flagstaff Artist. joAmo then took the time off doing shows by recording other artists including Krook'd of Fullscale, Suspekt. He also further produced his instrumentals including "Dat Kushy" which pertain's joAmo's aspect of where he's headed in music. February 4th, 2010 marked joAmo third show opening up for Las Vegas based 'Doomsday Productions' at Cinnabar. With less then two weeks being on the bill he still sold 30 tickets. Two months later, Lolita invested on joAmo's Birthday Bash April 10th, 2010 at Cinnabar. This also marked the first time all local artists including Classik, Mixed Facez, Terrizona G'z, Dj Kip Killiagain all under the same bill without a 'Major Act' instead joAmo himself headlined the show. Special Guests List included Shan Dan, Fullscale Productions, Studio X Productions and Kuttz Barbershop. joAmo then again started recording other artist including 'El Pachuco', 'Ese Smiley' which he meet thru Pachuco. Mid-2010 joAmo, Ese Smiley and El Pachuco founded "Arizona Soldierz Entertainment" and made the first track titled "AZ Soldierz" with a catchy hook of Young Jeezy saying "Blowing out the Kush, all we do is smoke" which falls under what the AZ Soldierz exactly do beside make music. Pachuco didn't take long before he ventured his own way noting himself doesn't smoke neither drink alcohol. With best wishes Pachuco was dropped upon the same day of Bizzy Bone Concert August 5th, 2010 at Cinnabar. This day, was joAmo's Fifth show and AZ Soldierz first as the last song was "AZ Soldierz" was scheduled to perform. Smiley pertained his own self and made the appearance and performed along joAmo on the song with Pachuco absent. Now, joAmo and Ese Smiley remain as 'The General' and 'The Captain' respectively; with recruits including 'Ese Dreamer', Alex and soon to be 'Ese Demon' and more to be announced. Flagstaff is home to joAmo for 10 year this upcoming April 10th, 2011. Word that joAmo may have his 2nd Annual Birthday Bash once again in town with different openers including Dj's, Bboy's, Duggy, Jerk, Rap battles. Currently, joAmo is in the studio recording Ese Smiley 10 track Mixtape Album. With joAmo's self experience in the music industry and Smiley's street of knowledge this album will mark the history books as a anticipated mixtape by the works of joAmo Records/Arizona Soldierz Entertainment. Also, joAmo remains patience and self taught to behold the next album of joAmo major debut album. You may catch joAmo usually Wedsnesday night at the Cinnabar for .25cent drinks and in support of Dj Kip Killagain. Friday's 2 for 1 at Maloney's and Collins usually gets joAmo out as well. If he's not doing anything involving music he enjoy's reading 'The Twilight Saga', Wiki Search, browse the internet, listen to all genre music, stay home, smoke outs, freestyling, cruise Flagstaff, travel with friends to such places as Las Vegas, Phoenix and Los Angeles. He also enjoys site seeing, working out, window shopping, walking downtown, relax with the family in sunny side neighborhood.
