JK1 the Supernova AKA Arthur-Itis

This is Jk1 The Supernova A/K/A Arthur Itis live and direct from plant earth, what's the good word ya'll ? It's all about dope beats and, dope rhymes on this side of things. I'm a student of the pioneers so I keep I keep it real, not Hip-Hop real just everyday living life real.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Who is JK1 The Supernova ? JK1 The Supernova is more than beats and, rhymes yet his life is based on and, is dedicated to both the beat and, the rhyme. '"I just want people to love music again" is what you can hear him say often in music related conversation with a sense of confidence "and not just hip-hop you know ? All genres are feeling it right now as far as being stagnant so I try to bridge as many gaps as possible for the sake of balance in artistry" . A Brooklyn N.Y. baby with a history in Waterbury CT currently in Florida's Tampa Bay area JK1 The Supernova puts a new spin on something old. "Just being honest but, most if not all these new cats coming out regardless of location suck. straight up ! What you have today is a machine systematically pumping out garbage at an obscene rate and, that very same machine doesn't either A) Care that it's taking away from what this music used to be or, B) hell bent on continuing these trends to mentally enslave the future of the youth. So for me to avoid the perils of conformity I keep my shit old school real boom bap like. See what I'm saying" ? With one unsigned indie release 2003's 'The Strangest Secret"(Google it !) behind him JK1 looks towards the future "A few things happened personally that had me out of the loop for a bit but, now it's like for all the time I missed sitting idle a new creative me has surfaced and is out for the gusto". A cool cat who doesn't care much for speaking yet, he feels that he says more with music JK1 The Supernova may have what it takes to resurrect the love of music in each and every one of us. Word's By A Good Friend
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've played a couple of live venues, nothing to really write home about right now but ummm.... there was the Bodog Battle Of The Bands with Phenetiks (www.myspace.com/phenetiks) 1st & 2nd rounds, venues throughout Connecticut cities such as Waterbury,Danbury,Hartford,Stamford and Finally NYC throughout Brooklyn mainly . Today's audience is so blah, give or take a few of course. So until the music comes full circle again I'll concentrate on developing a big enough buzz to where people would care enough to see me live. As far as special moments go I think every venue I've had the opportunity to perform in has one yet, nothing comes to mind.
