What up yall, Jiwon here. Thought I'd provide a more convenient for you peeps to grab my songs by having a presence here on SoundClick.com.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Haven't been doing music for long, about 4 years now. That's when I started singing and learning about music production. I've come a long way since then, but still got a long way before I get to the desired skill level. So you can bet that there will always be more songs coming from me, and I'll be gettin better each new song.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yea, I play live, but that's with my band called White Tiger (check us out at http://www.whitetigerband.com). We're a new generation Khmer band, playing all types of Khmer genres, plus a few english songs as well.
Your musical influences
I liked MJ as a kid back in the 80's (who didn't). Then the 90's came around and I became a sap listenin to old school R&B like H-Town, Silk, and especially Boyz II Men. These days, I admire too many to mention. All I know is, I gotta be as good as them.
What equipment do you use?
My trusty keyboard and a variety of computer software. That's all I really need to compose. As for vocals... if I had money, I'd get proper recording equipment!
Anything else?
Listen to the songs. I hope you enjoy. I'll be sure to come out with more and more, in all kinds of styles. To me, music is a big experiment.
