Jim Snedeker
Blending acoustic folk and pop styles, Jim has captured the character and color of his 20-plus years as a church musician, father, and husband in his new release "The Best Is Yet To Come". Packed with twelve original songs, his music will give you a lift - reminding you that a wonderful future is waiting for all those who hope in Christ. Whether it’s the refreshing honesty of his lyrics or the purity of his acoustic guitar, here is an artist and a project worthy of your attention. His reviews explain it this way - "this music keeps me looking for a bright future" and "Jim’s voice is very clear and quite comforting to listen to".
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Jim graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Music Education and spent four summers at Interlochen National Music Camp from 1970-73. He toured the Midwest and Canada in the late seventies with "Daystar", singing and playing rhythm guitar. More recently his folk and light jazz trio "Triad" was part of the Central Ohio coffeehouse scene. Jim has been singing and playing in his local church since 1976. Whatever your special event requires in the way of acoustic guitar and singing Jim offers a high level of professionalism and unique depth of character uncommon in the performing arts. His is the "Music That Lifts You Up".
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
