James is a self thought guitarist singer song writer/producer, from Ireland, with 18yrs experience both live and in studio. His track "Promises" was released in Summer '03 by Vinyla Destination records on a compilation of Ireland's best new music
James song 'Wonderland' will feature in the feature film "The Three Crosses" by 'October Eleven Pictures' which will be out early in 2005 (http://www.octoberelevencreatives.com/work3_3c.html).
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
James started an original band (Dextra - www.DeXtra.tk) with his two cousins when he was age 15. The band later changed its name to 'The Colourful', and have played gigs all over Ireland, both north and south of the border. James was part of the songwriting team that still gets the band good reviews in the national & local newspapers with appearence's on national TV.
After five years the band split. James realised how hard it was for a band to maintain its status quo, so he started off on the path of a solo carear whilst still working with bands and many other artists.
'Dextra' has since reformed, with James in the lead guitar and backing vocals role and are gigging, recording and touring. Free downloads can be got from www.DeXtra.tk
