I am a lover of music, literature and the arts. These have been my passions over the course of 6 decades. There have been times when I have been busy with other tasks, but I always return to what I love best, and these are things I can share freely with those who will listen.
Band/artist history
I can express my history through a song:
When I first walked down this road, it was shining like a glass;
The cowslips grew so beautifully in among the grass.
Summer finally came,
But I was not to blame.
I didn't even have a home, and no one knew my name.
I am just a traveler on this dusty trail;
I am just a hammer searching for a nail.
Someone said I stoled away the, now I guess I'll have to run
Or spend my locked up in someone's jail.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I used to perform at all the open stage events at various coffee houses in the Minneapolis, MN USA area.
Your musical influences
Doc Watson, Leo Kottke, Gordon Bok and many others have help mold me over the years.
What equipment do you use?
When it available, I use a Fender Squier Stratocaster, a few effects pedals and a Fender Mustang IV modelling amp. I also use a Sigma DM5-S for the "unplugged" songs.
Anything else?
Music is my passion, my lover, my place of comfort. I wish more people would understand how important it can be. It is something to be cherished, but also something to be shared.
