Howdy !!! I was born in Oklahoma and raised in Texas, so I got the best of both worlds !!Band/artist history
In the early 80's I played piano and sang back-up in a road band (Wild Red Horse) for Curb Recording artist the "Burrito Brothers". In 1985 I formed my own band, cut a Custom Label album, produced by Burrito Brother - John Beland, titled "Country Lady" which was also going to be a single release. I received a "Recommend" in Billboard Magazine in Nov. 1986 for "Country Lady" but due to circumstances was never released. My wife and I moved to Nashville (Hendersonville) in 1988. I was fortunate to meet and work with some good people (and have a few songs published) there before heading back to Texas in 1997 after our child was born.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, mainly singer/songwriter nights and benefits.
Your musical influences
I grew-up singing Gospel music, I love Southern Gospel quartet music. As far as country influences Glen Campbell, Vern Gosdin, Larry Gatlin, Dean Dillon and of course George Strait. I am a big fan of Traditional Country music with contemporary flavor !!!What equipment do you use?
Fender, Epiphone and Martin Guitars, Alesis Keyboards, Good ol' solid Peavey Amps.Anything else?
