Jim Jones Catering Service

Way back in 2003, 3 guys from West Michigan got together to make complicated music that people wouldn't like. Thus begins the legacy of the Jim Jones Catering Service. Now a 6-piece band including drums, bass, two guitar players, a sax player, and a keyboard player, JJCS is ten times louder (and worse), and continues to make complicated music that people won't like. Actually, it's not that complicated. Now, my relationship troubles in my WB series? THOSE are complicated. But, anyways, if the JJCS's music appeals to you, be sure to let the band know. However, if you watch the show "King Of Queens" regularly, please do NOT tell anybody that you like us. We don't need THAT kind of promotion.
Band/artist history
1994: GWAR probably releases an album 2003: JJCS forms in Plainwell, MI. coincidence? that's up for YOU to decide.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We play around here. We would play other places, but, we're about as sought-after as Tuberculosis.
Your musical influences
Let's see...what the fuck do we listen to? The Cure, Dillinger Escape Plan, Dillinger Four, GWAR, Dead Kennedys, Butthole Surfers, Every Time I Die, The O, Slayer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pixies, Mr. Bungle, Brainiac, Mission Of Burma, Destroying The Charade, Misfits, Converge, I don't know.
What equipment do you use?
Kellen uses his own drums and a couple thousand cymbals. Boe uses a Fender bass and a couple really big amps stacked together. Matt uses a Selmer saxaphone and my microphone. Tom uses a keyboard by some company or another. It's sort of big, but not really. Kyle and I use our own guitars and other peoples' amplifiers. I use my friends to get to their Star Wars collectibles.
