Classy blues. This reminds me of the jazzy big band blues that was so popular in the 50s through the 60s. In fact I hear a bit of the vocal styles of BB King and Ray Charles. Great sounds that are just as great to hear today. A sound that I'm glad to hear is still alive. I like your vocals style a lot. Very enjoyable listening. Excellent recording.

Danny Whitten, Neil Young and himself made some amazing music back in the day. I still have His original version with Crazy Horse. You perform this great song amazingly well Jim!
Have a good one!

Song: Was a Man of God
Howdy Jim,
My hat is off to you Jim!!!!!!!! This is an excellent song, both lyrically & melodically...... you certainly are gifted in all that takes to make a great song come into fruition, as a writer, lyrically; performance, musicianship & vocals and in production!!!!!!!!!! The melody is inspiring and the lyrics are thought provoking and the only thing missing from the performance & production..... is the smell of vinyl from a freshly opened LP...... this is so crisp & clean, an excellent performance!!!!!!!!!!!! All the stars that are allowed and my applause, my friend.... my applause!!!!!!!!!
With Respect & Admiration,
Wade

Song: Woe For The Cowboy
Howdy Jim,
I love this song!!!!!!!! You've nailed it to a tee, the mystery, the beauty, the sadness, the simple lonesome life of the cowboy and the loss of that oneness with the land and all around you. Awesome!!!! My friend, this song has a classic appeal, very intelligent in insight....you became at one with that life in writing this one, I can tell. You demonstrate the difference between verse and chorus of living with the land and dominating the land. All the stars I can muster for this one........Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Respectfully,
Wade
