Jim Colyer Band is a free-wheeling, ever-changing thing. Members come and go. The one constant is my catalog of songs. I do some of the lead vocals but employ females as I write lots of girl songs.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I have been recording since 1997. I came back to Nashville that year writing songs like crazy.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I perform my songs at writers nights in Nashville, Tennessee. I want cuts from Music Row.

I streamlined my catalog to 200 songs. This is a lot of songs. I selected 2 that I want to promote this year. They are "God Given Talent" and a Christmas song called "Merry Christmas." I am taking them to ASCAP.
