Have you performed in front of an audience?
I've joined with a R&B/Soul band, Yamama'nym. We're playing all over the country right now. We've been to ATL,NY,PA,VA and of course the Washington DC Metro area. I love to be in front of the microphone whether it's 2 people or 2000 people. I think pursuing my life long dream has been one great moment after another. I just can't wait to see where this path takes me...
Your musical influences
As a young child, I was known for entertaining my family and friends with his impressive vocals and performances. Whenever family came over I had to do my Michael Jackson impersonation. My mother, who is my greatest role model, encouraged me to utilize my talent and sing in the church. I joined a few choirs but mainly stayed in the studio working on my talent. I think my sound combines "old school" and "new school" soul. Merging the influences of legendary crooners such as Stevie Wonder and Donnie Hathaway, with the modern vocal emissions of Stokely (Mint Condition) and Kenny Greene (Intro) amongst countless others, I have tried to create a mature and graceful sound. My dynamic musical journey has only just begun.
Anything else?
I want to thank everyone for their support so far. For those that haven't yet been introduced to me and my gift, you're in for a really beautiful experience.
