Ambient guitar sounds, and Rock silliness.
Band/artist history
I've played Guitar since I was Fourteen.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No.
Your musical influences
Extremely varied. Proggy/psychedelic stuff (Steve Hillage, Gong, Hawkwind, King Crimson, Ozric Tentacles), Metal (Meshuggah, Capricorns, Baroness), Classic Rock, Ambient/experimental electronic stuff, Dub, 60's Pop ..... pretty much anything that's ....... good!
What equipment do you use?
Guitars; Gordon Smith SG2, Fernandes Str*t, FX; Boss Me 30 multi fx, Boss Ds1, Boss Super Phaser, Ibanez AD 80, Morley power wah. Recording; M audio soundcard, Toshiba laptop, Logic 5.5.
All inexpensive stuff bar the Gordon.
Anything else?
No aspirations of stardom or anything, thought I'd just put some tunes up and converse with some other Music types.
I really like the radio dialog, and the unearthly noises. This is another stunning piece. The drums/ percussion and then the repeating 'synth' figure pick it up nicely. very well thought out peice. Brilliant
Great guitar tone on this one. The 'radio' voices and the interference are a very nice touch. Very creative with an underlying hint of menace. Great production. Crisp and no hint of muddiness, which is usually par for the course with this kind of guitar tone. This is very well played and recorded.
This does hint at Steve Hillage with the guitar melody. Very nice track. Do yo have his LP's "And Not Or" & "For Tom Next" ? Your guitar playing is similar to his style at that stage of his career. This is another very atmospheric track. Top marks
Really creepy and atmospheric. Not sure as I want to see what's over this 'Event Horizon' . . . lol.
Very interesting sounds, very clean, clear and polished production . Another imaginative piece of music.
