JHard is a hip hop beat producer from North Minneapolis Minnesota, his home and birthplace. J is a very serious young brother, who comes from one of the first families of rap in the Land of Lakes, and Thunderstorms.
J's also a very talented lyricist, dancer, and stepper (black frat style).
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
J. Hard at 18 years old, has been producing beats for 6 years, working with many Twin Cities artists, from all musical backgrounds.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not often (too busy), my beats can perform without me. Other artists perform on my beats around the twin cities.
Your musical influences
Timbaland, Just Blaze, Neptunes, Kanye West, The Alchemist, Organized Noise, Scott Storch.
J.Hard's musical influences are many, west coast, east coast, and his own preference - tha dirty south.
From birth, J was exposed to lots of Ice Cube and George Clinton - Mom's favorites.
