JEY FLORES INC

Jennifer Flores Vergara, better known as JEY FLORES, was born and raised in the city of Montreal. At the age of 22, JEY has taken over all venus in the Montreal Area. Jey's biggest performance was when she opened for R&B group 112 in June of 2005 at the formerly known club, DOME (now OPERA).

Coming from a Filipino descent, and Latin American influence in her life, JEY has managed to integrate a different style to her music. JEY's father was the lead singer and bassist in his rock band called Mother Nature's Sons. Her father influenced her taste in music as he listen to bands from the Beatles to Earth Wind and Fire to Marvin Gaye. Rock and R&B have always been a part of JEY's life as well. At a young age, JEY grew up in Venezuela, and was influenced by Salsa, Tambor, Merengue, Bachata and Reggaeton.

JEY first started recording at the age of 13, and performed in her first public appearance at the age of 15. JEY is not only a vocalist, but also a songwriter, and composes all of her songs. She has also performed and collaborated with many local artists such as D-Crats, Genocide, Los Playaz (song entitled "Dale Corriente" produced by Myztiko, which was released on the compilation "Reggaeton Nation" which also available at HMV), King, Velvet Trench Vibes, Cordova and Mikey Dangerous.

JEY was signed to Sizzle Records, and released a Reggaeton compilation in music stores around Canada called "Reggaeton Flava". This CD is still available at HMV, Archambault and Wal-Mart. Her two songs released on this album are "Dale Papi" and "Toma Mi Fuego".

Currently, JEYFlores Inc. is an independent record label, and is working on her self-titled debut album, and will have featurings from some local artists as well.

I've performed at a lot of nightclubs in Montreal, but the most special performances I had were opening for US r&b group 112 at Club Dome in June 2005, singing at the SCP carshow two years in a row at the Olympic Stadium and performing at Chinese New Years at Metropolis in February 2005... I will be performing there again in January 2006.

"At all of these events there were 1000 people or more, and it felt awesome.... at Metropolis and Dome, I found people singing along to my songs, and it just felt so comforting to know people are loving the music... especially when I see them dancing.. i love that... love makin people have a good time!" Jay-Z, Common, The Roots, Eryka Badhu, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Michael Jackson, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Wisin Y Yandel, Lenny Kravitz, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Marc Anthony, Fania, Oscar De Leon.... I like a lot of artists... my main musical influences are pop, r&b, hip hop, rock and latin.
