Jesus Christ of the Etherscape

...i want u to remember this day, this time, this hour, this very second. because, some how u have stumbled your way into the world that is Jesus Christ of the Etherscape. mere man...or mammoth myth? u decide for yourself. but for the past 5 years, JCOTE has been going strong, with no stop in sight. the music has progressed, and with each track made, JCOTE grows stronger and stronger. so, judge for yourself, and welcome to the etherscape!

summer 1999 : JCOTE is formulated in IL.

fall 1999 : JCOTE begins early, rough recordings.

summer 2000 : JCOTE released debut album, "Silicon Crucifix".

fall-winter 2000 : JCOTE continues with 8 cassette tapes full of rough material.

summer 2001 : JCOTE releases second album, "Kometenmelodie", an album with a different approach and more computer-based.

fall 2001-spring 2002 : time spent djing as "dj holy iKon"

summer 2003 : JCOTE releases third album, "Super Ultra 50000 Megahertz of Drug-Induced MindPhuqing".

winter 2004 : JCOTE releases fourth album, "Melodies From A Distant Planet", a more ambient, experimental soundscape.

former keyboard player/programmer in KZN, and KZN (version 2.0). various shows have been played particularily at a place called rileys rock house, located in aurora, IL. JCOTE has performed live at several private parties, and has also appeared spinning trance music, under the moniker "dj holy iKon".

i listen to alot of electronic music, it is my total life. but i guess i can say my influences are various. but the one that influences my music the most would have to be richard d james, aka the aphex twin. his musical compositions are just pure genius, and they have quite a profound effect on me and my music. i am totally inspired to create all day and all night after listening to some of his works. he is truly a modern day mozart. a true credit to art and creativity. but also, lots and lots of psychadelic/GOA trance artists inspire me as well, as that is mainly what i spin when i dj.
