Songwriter/Singer Jermane has matured, and his lyrics now reflect his heightened state of mind.He had his bittersweet stories of love, hate and seemingly unending anger and frustration, all of which held their space in his song book. He is a writer first and foremost, a word manipulator, a rhyme generator.With the difficulties that have come, those that have been overcome and even with the new ones that will replace the old, Jermane is now equipped to withstand the hardships. Jermane's first love was the beat and flow of rap music.It was not until he got his heart broken at the tender age of 16 the shift was made. It was his first r&b recording " Hush" that fueled Jermane to become an r&b artist. Hush which spoke about the situation that led to his heart break, came as a shock to both artist, family and friends as they knew Jermane's dream was destined to be a rap artist. Songwriter/Singer admits that Hip hop was his first love, but as soon as he got his heart broken, R&B became his mistress. Jermane has developed both mentally and musically and is ready for the world. Often having a hard time convincing his parents that the music business is the place for him, he is determined and well motivated to make it."With every song, I try to better myself,I decided to shake my fears and allow my personality to come through.I'm not afraid to speak, to be realistic and talk about the issues men deal with [in relationships]." I write songs about my personal experiences because I need to. I want to say, This is how I understand my life and my position here. If I was the only person to enjoy that, it would be fine. But when people hear a song and tell me, Thats exactly how I feel, its heart-warming and rewarding. The mind can be a very lonely place.I never wanted to be predictable or pre-determined, for somebody to think of me and automatically say 'this is him, this is his arena,'This is his lane.' I can do what I wanna do.Born to be hated and dying to be loved.Not afraid to show that falling in love is still one of the most important things in his life, and finding that special someone is a necessary experience for all, his music fills the room with a quiet intensity of unbridled emotions, and a charm that is only matched by his honesty,Jermane dares you to go soar above the limits.
