I'm a UCLA student and trying to record songs, play at open mics, and ultimately get my music out to the masses and cut a CD. Don't know how I'll do it, but any suggestions would be more than kick ass.
I guess my style is pop/rock/acoustic? Just take a listen and see for yourself.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play at open mics, and currently I'm trying to get gigs lined up.
Weirdest moment was my first performance at a Border's open mic. It ended up being a punk band open mic type thing, and there I was, with just my dinky acoustic guitar, singing some corny love song. Awkward Awkward Awkward
Your musical influences
I'm a big fan of John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Panic at the Disco, Dashboard Confessionals, Jason Mraz, Scissor Sisters, John Legend, and Darren Flowers. I'd say I write pop-rock songs. I like letting my range of emotions come into my songs. Most of my songs have a laid back vibe.
