HI! I'm so glad you made it to my page. I do moody melodic piano music. My inspirations are Tori Amos, Kate Bush and Peter Murphy.
Band/artist history
History? I just started. Well, when I was a kid I used to make my bro and sis play plastic instruments (the kind you can get in a drug store toy isle)in my band, and I wrote songs at five years old about how "my boss ain't givin' me a dime." The first time I banged on a real piano at my neigbor's house, I felt like Elton John. By 9 years old I was really rocking it out on my tiny Casio.
Your musical influences
I think people are going to hear lots o' Tori in my music - no matter how much I want to stand on my own. I can't write any other kind of music - it's in my creative DNA. It's nice to have a big sister out there though.
What equipment do you use?
Kurzweil electronic piano (it's hard to record and lug around real pianos).

What a beautiful voice, very evocative. I can see the tori / kate bush influences (did you even mention kate bush? :P If not, check out wuthering heights, you "may" like it.)
I listened to velvet walks there, stunning song, from the first note onwards, everything was done with quality in mind.
Very very very impressed, best i have heard on SC (or from the female vocal genre in general) for a long while.
