Hello everyone, I'm Jeff, of Jeff Pearson. I hope everyone enjoys these tunes as much as I enjoy playing them, and everyone take care.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I just started writing songs about a year and a half ago, and I think I'm headed in the right direction. I'm very excited to see what comes out in the future, once I get over this writer's block.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I haven't played live yet, I wish to very soon. I have played for my friends but they're not really paying attention so I'd like to play a little crowd somewhere to see how the songs do.
Your musical influences
Hmmm... too many to name. I'd say the influences that really shine through in my music would have to be The Beatles and Pink Floyd. The Beatles, because, I mean, come on--pinnacle of songwriting, to me at least. Pink Floyd because David Gilmour really amazes me with his melodious solos that don't have blinding speed or flashy pyrotechnics, just pure emotion.
What equipment do you use?
I play an Alvarez AJ-60SC acoustic guitar, a jumbo acoustic to really get that full sound, an Ibanez Artcore AFS78T semi-hollow body for those clean tones, and a trusty Fender Stratocaster. When electrified, I play through a Crate GX-212 amp.
