Testin' the Mic (demo) Testin' the Mic (demo)
A song written for the Utah-based murder mystery company Poison Ivy Mysteries. This is an Australian testing the microphone and turns into a soft techno. For the full version and more info, please visit poisonivymysteries.com!
Creepy Waltz Creepy Waltz
A short waltz I wrote for a master class. Enjoy being creeped out!
Main, Action, Death Main, Action, Death
This was for a project in my film scoring class. The object was to create a theme and put it in three types of film music scenes: the opening title, an action scene, and a love or death scene.
Never Had a Girl Never Had a Girl
Just another emo song, about a guy who's never had a girl. And I don't just mean in the physical sense.

Right, dudes! It's Jeff Parkes, world-reknown artist! And by world, he means his own little world, of course. This is mainly a site for him to share all his creative works with his friends, although he certainly wouldn't mind being picked up by a professional group. Jeff really needs an upgrade of equipment; as of now, a lot of his stuff sounds like cheesy MIDI. Listen that!Band/artist history
Jeff Parkes has been composing music for over fifteen years. He wrote a lot of songs for the West Valley City, Utah band SaXon Geat during his high school years. After the band broke up, he went on to orchestrate a musical called Travels, written by his friend Nate Winder during their senior year of high school. He then went on to the music program at Brigham Young University, where he is currently studying as a media music major.Contact
