Hi Jeff, I am building a John Dowland and I have copied your Dowland: Fantasia over to from my ezop's station. I do not think they give you a notice for a 'copy' so I am telling you here. I specialize in the music of Dowland's friends Robert Jones and Philip Rosseter. I just posted a new song - Behold Her Locks - from Jones's 5th Booke [1610 #xix]. I make a few flubs but this recording on mine may be the only demo of this song that is out here in the world. Trick T.

Well played. It's a really difficult piece, but you played it very fluently.

Hi Jeff, you play so well - technically and musically. Its quite a feat to have learned and recorded so many pieces. You seem to have a real passion for the guitar - keep at it.

Hey Jeff, I loved your rendition of Wild Mountain Thyme. Man, I wish I could play guitar like you. But the technicality is not the big thing for me - you nail the essence of the the human being feeling something profound and expressing it in a way that others immediately grok. I'd love to collaborate vocally with you on that ... and I'm not getting any younger ;-)

Thanks, targuit! I look forward to hearing you play...let me know when you get some recordings uploaded. I transcribed the Metheny tunes by ear, but Letter from Home has since been published in Fingerstyle Guitar magazine. Hopefully Jason will have the whole thing published very soon. I only own one guitar, the Bogdanovich. Well, that and a little La Patrie parlor classical I keep in my office. The others were each sold as I bought the next...one guitar in, one guitar out! Thanks again, --Jeff

Ciao, Jeff! I came to your site off the acoustic guitar forum, and I love your playing! Beautiful tone, phrasing, the works! I, too, play classical, jazz, country...some forty-five years now. I'm still trying to get the equipment needed to post on my own SC site. Soon. A question - did you transcribe the Jason Vieaux arrangements of Metheny tunes by ear or did you get ahold of the iminently to be published transcriptions? Regardless, your performances were first-class. And I would add that you seem to have access or own a formidable stable of instruments. Fantastic job.

Hey Jeff, Love your recordings, you make the guitar sound great. I need to talk to you about using some snippets of your mp3's on my new site. I have been trying to contact you. Please email me at jsbguitars@bellsouth.net. Thanks, John

Dear Jeff, I was googling Spatter the Dew and came across this. We used to chat a bit on Delcamp and you might remember you helped me track down the music to Dowland's Fantasia and had some very encouraging words along the way. Haven't seen you on Delcamp in ages. I'm thrilled I found this and can't wait to listen to all your recordings here. Your Spatter was great. Was that Russell's transcripition (I just ordered it). Best regards, Rick

Thanks for your always kind words Jeff! I love you site! You have some great uploads here! I still enjoy the guitar video you created a while back. Hope to hear more soon, friend. (Jeff, a better version of WWT’Blues is online as a complete version if you want to check out the ending).

Wonderful job on Spatter the Dew. I am working on this song right now. I only hope I can get it down half as beautiful as you have played this most beautiful song!
