JD's Legacy is a band out of the north Texas region. We are mostly family and love to play and sing bluegrass music. We do not sing with our mouths but with our hearts. We will sing just about anywhere we can and anytime we can.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes we do play live. We have a great time playing live, especially if the crowd is really into it. We act pretty crazy. Our mandolin player dropped his mandolin and it hit the floor hard. The strap had come loose. Everone got a good laugh.
Your musical influences
Our musical influences are great bluegrass names such as Ralph Stanley, Bill Monroe, Allison Krauss, Nickel Creek, The Lonesome River Band, Ricky Skaggs, Earl Scruggs, Dan Tyminski, The Issacs just to name a few. We try to stay very open minded while keeping an overall traditional bluegrass sound. What equipment do you use?
All acoustic, all the time. We use a variety of sound equipment. Mostly Peavy.Anything else?
Give us a call......we want to play!!!JANEKS' STATIONS-#1

Enjoyed your music. When your mando player dropped his instrument, did he do much damage? I dropped my Martin HD28, I thought I'd have a heart attack. Some scratches, nothing broken thank God!
If you got time, check out our new tunes. Thanks, MikeEnjoyed your music. When your mando player dropped his instrument, did he do much damage? I dropped my Martin HD28, I thought I'd have a heart attack. Some scratches, nothing broken thank God!
