JD and OL

The Band is J.D. and O.L. a rap duo, that has been trying to get sign for years. And we feel like now is the time that we should be known we should be notice. Everybody needs to give J.D. and O.L. a chance and see what we about.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
(BIO): J.D. & O.L. (who are brothers) were both born in Illnois, but lived most of there life in Memphis,TN. But now J.D. is back living in Illinois trying to get there music heard out there and O.L. is still in Memphis doing the same there. J.D. has been rapping since he was 15 and O.L. has been rapping since he was 13. J.D. & O.L. first mixtape was "B4 Alpha" which had some of the first songs they ever recorded. Their second mixtape was "B4 Alpha: Volume 2" which had some of their first songs with original beats. Their third and newest mixtape out is "B4 Alpha: Volume 3" which is there first mixtape with great studio quality and really shows how better theyve become since there first mixtape "B4 Alpha". You can check out some of their new songs from "B4 Alpha: Volume 3" on their myspace. O.L. has also put out a solo cd "Killin Tha Competition" and is working on a new solo cd now. J.D. is working on his first solo cd "Quiet Boy Wit Somethin 2 Say" too. But J.D. & O.L. say they are a duo and are just doing solo cds to improve their skills. They consider themselves the best at what they do and will not stop till they get where they wanna be.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Only me, J.D. , has played one time and it went ok. We both just need to get use to being on that stage, cuz the stage and studio are two different places. If you mess up in the studio u can fix up but if u fuck up on stage it's different. But besides that one time on stage I rapped infront friends and shit plenty of times.
Your musical influences
2pac, Nas, Eminem, The Notorious B.I.G, Papoose, Lil Wayne, Sam Cooke, Jimi Hendrix, Big L, Big Pun, and all of The Wu-Tang Clan. I listen to alot more rap artist and singers then this but these are the people I really learned something from. O.L. listen to most of the same artist.
What equipment do you use?
Pro Tools, mixing board and a mic. This is all at the studio i go to.
Anything else?
