What ya heardsize does matter. Out of Miami comes Jumbo, XXXL skilled MC ready to rep the 305. Abdul Samman, a.k.a. Jumbo, was born June 4, 1980. He began his musical career as a DJ, working alongside the likes of Miami legend DJ Uncle Al. At 13, his parents disagreed with his passion, but eventually showed their support by buying him his first equipment.
This support, combined with the love of hip-hop, prompted Jumbo to begin rapping. Like many other young artists, rappers such as the late Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G influenced him. Their ability to reach the masses with their message inspired him to begin writing. In 1999, Jumbo decided to focus less on Djing and pursue rapping.
Jumbo’s style of skillful wordplay and southern-fried flow has drawn comparisons to Ludacris, but Jumbo prefers to make his own mark in the game. Jumbo is currently working on his solo project under TrakStar Entertainment imprint. This project will surely establish Jumbo as talented MC and a future star of hip hop. A word of advicemake room for Jumbo.
