Jazzraptor
I'm a solo artist, and have recorded four albums since 2003, and I'm currently working on a rock opera as the fifth album. You can see jazzraptor.com for more information.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
At this point, I just keep putting out original music. "Evolution of Jazzraptor" in 2003. "Raptorgnosis" in 2005. "Tame Until Hungry" in 2007. And "Jazzraptor's Secret" in 2009.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play publicly when I get a chance to. I have the unfortunate inability to say "no" to any question of involvement regarding music! I'm in a chorus and a small close harmony a capella jazz vocal group called "Full House". I've also got a new band called DreamCycle and the Jam Stallions. (See jamstallions.com)
I've been in dozens of pick up bands, and I really enjoy playing with new people.

That's a huge question! Paul Simon, Jeff Beck, Beck, Third Eye Blind, Jimi Hendrix, Jon Hendricks, Sarah McLachlan, Santana, Linkin Park, Coldplay, Mose Allison, TajMahal, Avril Lavigne, Yes, Isley Brothers, Eminem, Amy Mann . . .
I really like it all.
What equipment do you use?
I've got nine guitars right now. My steady electic is a Tom Anderson strat body. I've been using a Gibson J180 as my main acoustic guitar.
