Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The L.A. birth, Chicago raised, Jazmyne JAZ Lamar was born to entertain. She has been rapping since the age of 2, dancing in musicals since the age of 3, and acting since the age of 5. At age 10, she recorded her first rap demo, and earned the status of a rap natural by some local music producers and disc jockeys throughout the mid west region.
Today, Jaz is a dedicated 12 year old pre-teen entertainer, who has continued to strengthened her rapping, acting, and dancing credentials. She has written and recorded over 15 new and unique rap songs, while striking leading roles in many local plays and dance musicals. More amazingly important, Jaz still finds enough quality time to maintain a 4.0 G.P.A.

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Right now I only perform live at shows in the Chicago area. I love the stage. But my most special moments are in the studio recording songs.

Your musical influences
I will say that I am mostly influenced by original rappers who have unique styles. I was raise listening to alot of old school artist like Rakim, Queen Latifah, MC LYTE, and KRS ONE. But I still listen to artist like BOW WOW, B2K, and Twista.

I just hope people would like my style and realize that I am serious and not a gimmick. Even if I dont get a deal, I will still make songs and act in plays and musicals because I love doing it.
