Jay-Tee-NL

Although did not start playing untill the age of 18, he has always been very involved in music because of his cultural heritage. Very early in his bass playing career, it became clear Jay-Tee is a "groover". He was the original bass player with 's "Funky Stuff. " When he fell of a 5 story building in Amsterdam in 1989, people thought his bass playing career was over, he shattered his pelvis, wrist, and broke his back, as if by a miracle, he was out of the hospital in less then 3 months. During his stay in the hospital he had already picked up bass playing as soon as his wrist allowed him. Since then he has been a regular & at Frankfurter Musik Messe in Germany, NAMM show in Anaheim California USA, Music & Harmony in The Netherlands, London Music Show in Engeland and The Music Show in Italy. Markbass & Windmill has greatly benefited from his aggressive infectious grooves during short demo's to attrackt dealers and consumers to their stands. Jay-Tee plays 4 & 5 string basses. :and others. Currently Jay-Tee is working on his second solo album, which will feature artists such as: Alain Caron, Martijn van Iterson, Jerome van Iterson, Marcellino Latupeirissa, Edoardo Reghini, Tineke Postma & many more.
