Jay-R(VA)

In a time when trend following is at an all-time high and records are sold at the expense of musicianship, one artist is attempting to set his own trends while giving what he believes every fan deserves: their moneys worth. Jay-R, a promising and multi-talented 17-year-old singer/actor/songwriter/producer, takes the definition of a child prodigy to whole new meaning. Combining his boyish looks, natural comedic timing and stage presence, silky-smooth dance moves and an attention-demanding, yet melodic voice, Jay-R captures the imagination of audiences both young and old.

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I'm open for anything at this point...I've performed at a few major venues, and just to be able to get on stage for even one song, those three minutes are the happiest of my life, the crowd, the lights, the whole feeling of knowing that for a time I have complete control in people's imaginations. It's a wonderful and fulfilling feeling.
