Jacob Carmona aka Jay is a 17 year old born in south side Chicago and has a great passion for music. He first started out playing the drums at the age of 4 then later was involved in his adult church band at the age of 8. Wanting more, he learned how to play the trumpet, guitar, and bass at the age of 12, which from that point on gave him a stronger musical ear. Moving to New York at the age of 15 he was again put into a band where he strengthened his beat and later expressing it at his school. Taking electronic music in class at Greenwich High School, Jay produced many beats and melodies, impressing his teacher, Ms. Freedmen. In Junior year he wanted to show his school what he can do and what he+ wants to do for the rest of his life. He produced a song and wrote lyrics for the first time in his life. He was put into the Composer's Showcase at GHS and nearly won. He is extremely happy for what he has done and what he is going to continue to do. With the tough struggles in life, Jay is still writing and producing music through his old laptop. He is back in Chicago to have his name heard.Admin
