Carrying the experience of over 100 shows, several sucessful independant releases, and one dissapointing contract from a major label,
Jay Kool has become a Cleveland Street legend and a force to be wreckoned with in the music industry. Jay Kool has set up an in-house production studio and joined forces with beat making extradonaire Eric Wilson(Scratchpaper Productions) to constantly keep working on bangin tracks. Once the bangin tracks are turned into singles and albums, The Nina Raw Records Network then puts the songs on the street independently to build a bigger fan base and business savvy each release!

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I love performing live music.
I will perform anywhere live in front of any amount of people(a phone booth) because the show must go on!!!!!
Your musical influences
My musical influences include a host of bands from the 70's funk era(Parliament,Ohio Players, Bootsy,James Brown,etc...), Dr.Dre, Outkast(Dungeon Family), Organized Noize, Timberland&Missy, Ice Cube and Tupac.

MPC2000xl, ASR10 and a assortment of sound modules and sound files.

** Part of first Hip Hop group(Catch 22) to get a National Recording deal in Cleveland, Ohio history.(Profile 1991)
** Interned with Outkast(Dungeon Family) and Organized Noize during Southernplayalistic album.

features Big Rube(Dungeon Family), Eric Wilson, Boostyle, Kinzmun, and some of the hottest up and coming talent in the music industry.
