Jay A Beats

My name is Justin Pauliot aka Jay A. Which stands for Just Amazin. I was born at Iron Mountain Michigan hospital but was moved to Milwaukee Wisconsin Hospital because of my illnesses. I Died 3 times when I was born so I defiantly believe in God, because if not why would I still be here? I am here for a purpose as they say. I’ve been producing for about 7 years. I started rapping at 16 but soon gave that up. I soon met someone over the internet. His name is Mike Melody, and he told me about music producing. He showed me the ropes on how to make beats, so in essence, he is like a mentor to me. He was surprised at how good I’ve got in the last 3 years. He said himself no one match my dedication, because music is my life. It’s all I have. I graduated high school in 2004 from Cookeville TN High School, and I have been a full time producer ever since. My first artist is my long time friend, Joe Posorski aka Lil Joe or THE J.O.E. I met him ,also online, in 2002. I met with him in person around 2004. I lived in Iron Mountain MI at the time and he lived in Oscosh, Wisconsin. He came to get me one day and we made some music. At the time I was still learning the ins and outs of music production. I wasn’t that good, but he still stuck with me and gave me the necessary time to get better. We've been working together ever since. We just finished his latest album self entitled THE INTRODUCTION in which every song is produced by me. I have done full albums, I have worked with local, and artist from other countries. I’ve even worked with the D.O.Bz. aka DEES OTHER BROTHERZ. From Coal City, Nigeria, Africa. I used to work for a local rap group here in Cookeville, TN called Rip Squad. They renamed their group SQUAD UP. I’ve done half of their 2007 album. I did 9 out of 14 tracks or so, and had 2 of our songs on the local radio. I left the group after the album was released, because they did not give me full, or any credit for the instrumentals. I’m still cool with 4 of the members, but not for business. I still do beats for them every now and again. I do work with one of their old members. His name is Skit, and he is from Algood, TN. I recently signed a rapper from Portland, TN. His name is Dalton Pruitt aka Dee Boi Tha Prince. We are currently working on his upcoming debut album, “Prince of the Southâ€, which will be released sometime in February. The whole album is produced by me. I’m not looking to be the next one hit wonder. I’ve worked hard to get to where I’m at, and I will never stop. I will be going to Full Sail next fall, and my major will be Recording Arts, so I can learn more about engineering. I appreciate you for taking the time to read my bio, and learning more about me.
