Jax Pre Face
Jax Pre Face features a collection of artisticly tranquil and dark, moody material. A fusion of ambient/dark ambient, idm, minimalism and experimental electronica are combined with interesting ideas that convey a comforting flow. Soothing soundscapes, mild beats and surreal moods form a controlled and effective presentation of experimental ambient electronica.Band/artist history
Formed by C. Stepniewski in january of 2000 with the idea of ambient/dark ambient/minimalism electronica in mind. Compositions began but were abruptly halted and the subsequent two years brought on some slight financial difficulties as well as a lack of time due to C. Stepniewskis other projects, "Noisecore Freak" and "Murder By Static". Mid 2002 saw the recording of one track but it was never released. As 2002 passed and 2003 began, ideas and time permitted another track to be recorded that summer but again, the recording was not released. Finally, in late 2004 with time permitting, Jax Pre Faces nine song debut, "Chapterwood" was recorded and released in the summer of 2005.
