Band/artist history
i got my guitar as i was turning 13. started out playing nirvana, bush, and 311. then it turned to dave matthews, guster, and counting crows. i started writing songs when i was about a junior in high school, even though i will probably never let anyone hear those ones. in college, i really started to learn how to develop a catchy sound on the guitar, but i struggled with writing meaningful lyrics and a melody that would keep people interested in what i had to say. my junior year in college, 2002-2003, is when i really started to produce songs that meant something to me and that i thought could mean something to other people. i think i will always struggle with writing meaningful lyrics, though every once in a while i can get something good to come out. i have always had the hardest time with producing good melodies, but again, every once in a while...

It IS a catchy song - and stylized in the current popular vein (kind of sounds like Train) (who sound like...) (and this goes on and on). The lyrics need a little work (all those and's sap the energy of the chorus)... I can see a band picking this up, a studio filling it out, and it becoming a hit... (maybe I'll try it - just to see what happens - since I'm of a different era (though I've been through several already!)
really awsome tune.
hey man, listened to a couple of your songs and i must say, nice! youve got some really good work!
